Is anyone still feeling like someone drained all the energy out of their body? Seems like I can barely get anything accomplished. I have a 20 month old daughter, and it's all I can do to keep up with her. We have all these house projects that I need to do, and NOTHING gets done. I have no energy. On top of that, I am eating everything under the sun...and barely any of it is healthy. Seems like all I want is junk food and a ton of milk. The thought of fruit makes me ill.

With my last pregnancy I was feeling bouncy and full of pep by 12 weeks (I'm 12 weeks 4 days now), and all icky pregnancy symptoms had flown the coop. I'm anxiously awaiting for that to happen this time around...I feel like a giant blob stuck in permanent overalls (my regular clothes don't fit and my maternity clothes are too big).

Can anyone relate? And does anyone want to come over and do all these house projects for me?

Boy, can I ever relate. Now that I'm 13 weeks, I have a day once in a while when I feel decent. And on those days, I (without overdoing it) clean, cook and remember "oh yeah, THIS is what it's usually like being me." Every other day I am pitiful. A shadow of my former self. I basically wake up in the morning and from that moment on I am just waiting to go back to bed. I am so, so tired. I don't brush my hair, pay any attention to what I'm wearing, let alone put on lipstick.

It's sad.

I'm 15 weeks now and i am just start to feel the second wind.Having subsequent children steals some of your energy so it may not be as easy as your first.I still nap with my toddler because it helps me alot.I also starting exercising again which makes me feel real good.

I've only just now - like in the last 24 hours, lol - even began to entertain the thoughts of exercising again. I think that's a good sign. And today I haven't had the need to take a nap, which is VERY unusual. I've taken a nap for at least an hour (sometimes four!) just about every day for a month... the days I didn't because I couldn't for some reason were utterly miserable. Today I feel almost human. I'm just past 12 weeks and oh-so-ready for the nausea and exhaustion to say good-bye (even knowing that the heartburn will take over for the nausea).

I feel like a slug.
Totally lethargic.

I'm so praying that this goes away by the end of this trimester! My house is dirty, I haven't worked out in weeks, and all my projects are being totally neglected.

I have the sense that everyone in the world (ok, possibly an exageration) is meaner. For example, on my drive to work it seems that people will not let me in when changing lanes. I've also been having grocery store issues (I buy gift certs. through my church and the cashier wouldn't take them). It just feels like life is more draining than usual. I don't feel tired exactly, just drained.

I was like that with my first and now again with this one. I'm so exhausted most of the time. It's almost an effort to breathe. Luckily, when I feel like this, I don't have any nausea. With my 2nd, I had energy but felt sick all day.

Let me join you! I've had entire days where I abrely get up off the couch. I've been watching tons of TV, when we didn't even have one first time around. What happened to my healthy cooking, yoga/meditation practicing, book devouring, music playing former self? Yikes, it's scary. What's scarier is that I know that the tiredness is going to be there for the next yr or two. I never quite grasped that with the first pregnancy. Wah.

I've been exhausted for 2 months and my energy is just starting to come back in spurts. I tried to clean last weekend and after vacuuming and mopping (with the steam mop, so nothing strenuous) the floors in our 1100 sq ft house I had to take a nap to recover.

Mostly I just sit around and think of all the things I should be doing.
