Sorry this will contain TMI.. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/blush.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="blush"> I'm just gonna go ahead and use proper terms for body parts..<br>
I gave birth to dd on 6/30/07 about 6 1/2 mth ago (vaginal) and since then my vagina seems to smell different. I thought it'll be better once I'm done healing from the birth but it's about the same. It seems stronger and more acidic. Showering only helps for half a day or so. I'm just wondering if this is normal, maybe something to do with hormones due to breastfeeding?? When will it go away if not ever?

Is it causing you problems? Is the smell unpleasant to you in any way? Think of smell as being a natural diagnostic tool, where you can smell something isn't right. Different isn't necessarily bad. But if it doesn't smell "right" to you, then that is probably a problem.
