No never.
with my first two I made some horrid horrible mistakes. ( with first I was young and living with relatives who contributed to a lot of them) But even though I made some with second I learned other ways. It took some time with them to mend things but it was done and they have been gd'd ever since.
I have seen some of the threads off and on of is it too late etc .. and from my personal experience I say no. It isn't easy when you change things -not by a long shot but it is sooo worth the time and patience to try and perservere with it

Not too late, but the longer you leave it, the longer it takes to repair. The tougher you have been, the angrier the child.

You must expect to take it on the chin for some time.

But it will work for you in the end.
