DD sleeps in her own room... well she was quiet last night for ages and I was sure she was asleep.. but then I hear 'Mommy! I made a mess!' and I go down there and she is covered from head to toe in A&D... it's on her felt slippers, her socks, her pjs, in her hair, on her quilt, on her sheet... in the past when little bits have got on sheets etc it's made a stain... anybody got any ideas of how to get it all off?

she was so darn cute... but jeez!

He he heh he he. She sounds like my dd. Mummy, i made a mess!!!!!! I like that. Yes, she sounds like she certainly did! I dont' have any advice on stain removal for you. I'm a dud with getting stains out. I just had to giggle a little and commend you on not freaking out. Great job mama!

Ive gotten that out of a red cotton dress.....so I know you can get it out. I would first do a cold soak.....then spray with bac out and leave overnight. If you dont have bac out, shout will work. let it sit with the shout, then I would do a soak in Oxyclean. I did this procedure and had to soak for about 3 days before it came out, but it did. If you pull it out of the Oxy and its still stained, repeat with the Shout and let it sit, then the Oxy soak. Should work!

Try Dawn dishwashing liquid.

I would definately go with the cold soak and you might also try Zout if you have some.

Dishwashing detergent is made for cutting grease and works really well. Shampoo is a little gentler, but doesn't work quite as well.
