Are they really huge? Are they worth it? I like keeping my son in covers and PFs during the day but the Premiums aren't fitting as well as I'd like. And if anyone could reccomend somewhere that sells them.
Please.

My DS is 18months 29lbs and 35 inches and the toddler size works great. I got my CPF & IPF on ebay from teresa @ granitsmith. SHe has a ebay store and is GREAT at answering questions. I like my indian prefolds better just because they feel softer. They may be SLIGHTLY smaller but not much.

I actualy find the Indian Toddlers to be quite a bit smaller, although I use both. My Indians are more absorbent though, so it works out. I use Toddlers on my 28-30 pound 20-month old and we love them. The premiums are not absorbent enough anymore, we get some soggy wool happening so that's the main reason I use the Toddlers.

The CPFs have enough extra lenth that I fold them down in the front and it completely doubles over my son's wet zone - so I have 4x8x4, so 16 layers, doubled, so 32 total. Make sense? With the Indians I do not have enough extra to double it over in length but they are absorbent enough that they work for us anyway. Good luck!

We recently switched from premium to toddler PFs on our 2yo, 30lb, 36" tall son. The premiums were still ok trifolded in a wrap. However, when we tried to snappi the premiums, they would wiggle loose and the snappi would end up against his legs. The toddler prefolds have about 3" extra width, so they work much better with a snappi. Our staple now is snappied toddler PFs with a pull-up cover. We have both indian and chinese toddler PFs and I don't notice much difference.

I personally find toddler CPF's to be HUGE. But I personally love trim diapers.

*However*, when I trim my toddler CPF's (cutting about 2-3 inches off the length) then they fit perfectly and are nice and absorbent.

You mean sewing an infant along the side of the premium to make it extra wide? What about putting the premium on side-ways, so the rise is not the waist? Would that leave you enough rise?

Yea, I know what you mean about the difficult to contain! Have you tried laying the prefold in a cover so you don't have to worry about it not going all the way around his waist?
