Boo's been doing really REALLY well with using the potty for the last month or so - esp. for pooping. But for some reason DH put a diaper on him this morning instead of letting him go bare bottomed. :

So - 7:20 am and I'm running a load of diaper for about 6 diapers because I could NOT let a toddler-pooped diaper sit in the pail (even after a dunking !)

It is really gross!
I changed my sons 20 mo the other day and the messy smell came real close to making me throw up. That nasty diaper went straight in the washer.

when ds was smaller i watched a friend's toddler who was in disposables. upon the arrival of my friend at the end of the day i announced that her daughter's diapers were toxic. at first my friend thought that i was complaining about her disposables but i cleared it up that i meant her poo. OMG, it was horrible. i almost threw up.

of course my ds's poo isnt nearly as bad....

Josh nurses so much I think that helps with the stinkies. Strange to say but there is a sweet smell to his so it is not too offensive
Now trust me, he can be a stinker, but most of the time its not so bad.
Sorry mommas, sending flowery poo smelling vibes to you all :LOL

Yes, after changing my 20 month old nephew's sposie, it stunk up the house for 2 days even after we took out the trash! : NOT looking forward to that with my own kid.

Yep ds's poo is awful. Makes me want to puke. It runs the gammet from really stinky but easily cleaned up "bunny turds" to nuclear waste don the hazard suits sticks to every thing "tar poo". I try to make sure he is wearing a pocket diaper when he goes so at least it is easy to get off of the fleece. But sometimes I wish I could pay some one to clean it up for me. Any takers? :LOL

I have been watching this thread and have to tell you my daughter poops like a rabbit! She's been doing it for months and my friends are amazed I only have to use 1 wipe on her. She eats pretty much what we do but no meats/dairy foods. Too funny!

I save the monster poop for my husband. He changes like one diaper a week and those are the ones I save for him.

Toddler poop was the root cause of diapering prejudice at our house.

For about 2 months, I was diapering my then 5mo and my 3.5 yo with the same large diapers. For the baby, I would lovingly select a favored diaper that coordinated perfectly with his carefully chosen outfit. For the toddler who pooped 3 times a day, I would grab whatever diaper I really didn't like and throw it on him. Uggg. He didn't get my special velour wipes either. I hate toddler poop. I hate washing it too.

I still lovingly diaper the baby, but now I just send toddler boy to the potty. Yaaaaaaaaaaay! (I hope I didn't scar him for life : )
