Does anyone have a recommendation for a toddler swing? (outdoor) My dd is 12mos old and weight almost 20lbs. We just want a swing for now, then next spring find a swingset.<br>

We have this Little Tikes swing:<br><a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325&tag=motheringhud-20&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FLittle-Tikes-2in1-Secure-Swing%2Fdp%2FB00007B5EL" target="_blank">http://www.amazon.com/Little-Tikes-2.../dp/B00007B5EL</a><br><br>
DS used it last summer and is using it this spring so far. He's about 22 lbs. He seems to sit quite well in it and it latches nice and securely. The ropes it comes with are very short, so you might need to put longer ropes on depending on where you hang it.

MIL has that swing and dd and dn loove it. The only thing I don't like is how you have to get the straps undone. The release buttons are kind of hard to push, especially if you have nails.<br>
MIL also has <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325&tag=motheringhud-20&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FStep2-7488KR-Toddler-Swing%2Fdp%2FB00073HI0A%2Fref%3Dpd_bbs_sr_2%2F104-6747469-2303902%3Fie%3DUTF8%26s%3Dtoys-and-games%26qid%3D1177859021%26sr%3D1-2" target="_blank">this one</a> and I like it alot better. She bought it at K-Mart last year.<br>
She was also able to attach both of these toddler swings to her playset in place of the regular swings.<br><br><a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325&tag=motheringhud-20&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%2Fref%3Dnb_ss_t%2F102-3708118-4312936%3Furl%3Dsearch-alias%253Dtoys-and-games%26field-keywords%3Dtoddler%2Bswing%26Go.x%3D0%26Go.y%3D0%26Go%3DGo" target="_blank">Here's</a> a page on Amazon with a bunch of toddler swings.<br><br>

We have that Step 2 swing. While it's a good, comfortable, and secure swing, the belt latch is LETHAL. I mean, recall-lethal, for-heaven's-sake-don't-get-your-fingers-too-close lethal. I've gotten blood blisters from it twice! If anyone decides to get it, keep your kids' hands away from the straps when you're doing the latch.
