My 16-month-old has been waking up every morning with green, crusty, yucky junk all around her eyes/eyelashes for the past week or so. It also occurs randomly throughout the day, not just when she's sleeping. The daycare mentioned pinkeye, but I really don't think that's it -- her eyes aren't pink, don't seem itchy, and it started with both eyes, not just one.<br><br>
She also has a slight cough and green mucus when she sneezes, but the coughing/sneezing/green mucus is actually really common for her. My DH just said something very true and alarming the other day -- "She actually sneezed, and nothing green came out!" I didn't realize how common green mucusy sneezes had become for her.<br><br>
Do you think this warrants a trip to the doctor, or is there some kind of natural remedy for these things?
