Heyla all!
So 2yo dd banged her chin on the palyground last week and scraped it up pretty good. An ice pack, some ointment, and it looked fine. However, she has started to pick at it and now it is red, swollen, and oozy much of the time.
I'm not looking for health/healing advice but "how do you convince a toddler not to pick at a scab?" ideas.
Right now we try to redirect her attention and her hands, but she is pretty determined to play with her "boo boo" and it's really slowing down healing! Every morning it looks pretty good and by evening...well...
thanks!
