Feel free to check out my link below and see what my life is like EVERYDAY. It could be two buckets and a tin can. It could be a spatual or a broom stick. Whatever it is, it become music and he is so passionate about it. Anyone else with Rock Gods trapped in toddler bodies?

Oh my GAWD your kid is incredible!!! I mean AWESOME!!! Thanks for sharing that video. It really perked up my afternoon!

As for me, I always think Dharma's going to be the next Beyonce. This kid is 19 months, and she has a friggin' song library in her head. She's been making up tunes before she could talk, and she can carry a tune, while I can't.:
She also plays the African drum we have in the house, plus her kiddie instruments. (Today she was trying to play twinkle, twinkle on the xylophone.) But frankly, while Dharma is cute-- your kid is awesome. Way to go mom. And good luck. And enjoy the years of entertainment you've got coming your way!

When are these little ones supposed to acquire rhythm, according to "the books?" Jett has been bopping right along with beat for ages and ages now. I always wonder if he's musically inclined or if that's normal.

Isaiah is sooooo precious. I can't even begin to tell you how adorable that video is!!

Thank you all for your sweet words. I am so glad he brightened your day! I think its just fabulous when our little ones at such young ages have passions for things. He is such a little show stopper lol. WTG with mini Beyonce! And Isaiah also did not talk very well till recently he had a speech burst but prior one of the very few words he could say was Guitar lol

TOO CUTE FOR WORDS!

He has all of the little motions down PERFECTLY! The textbook toddler mimic!

My dd loves loves loves music. We are getting more instruments next week but she loves her box of children's instruments and also sings along to lots of songs really well. It cracks me up to hear her singing adult songs ("i got soul but i not a soul-yah" today -- the killers)

That is so cute!!! He is quite the little rocker!

My 18 month-old DS is all about drums. He's really into jazz, and one of our favorite things to do is put on Miles DAvis "Kind of Blue" and watch him rock out!

Isaiah loves just about any music. I bet he would like that song. I am going to find it online. We are going to give him a drumset for xmas and DH wants to build him a stage. He always flips stuff over to stand on to perform lol

LOL

Maggie is a cute little dancer, she loves her drums. I play bass and hope that she falls in love with music. From what I can see, I think she already has.

He is 30 months... He has been like this since I can remember. One of his first words was Guitar. Isaiah air basses. He goes "G G G G" and plucks the strings lol, He got that from School of Rock his favorite movie

You're kid sounds a lot like my first! His daddy took him to lots of drum corps and, with two music major parents, he was exposed to all sorts of music from the womb on. I also taught Kindermusik, so he always had that.

True story: When I was pregnant with Michael we went to DC and visited one of the Smithsonian institutes and they were having a drum exhibit. After a while, Michael started to kick on the strong beat. I knew then we were in trouble, LOL!
