Yes, tofu can be frozen but it changes the texture. Some people freeze it exactly for this reason. I've heard that frozen and thawed tofu is good for stir fries and other "meaty" dishes. I've never tried it though.

I am sure that you can freeze it for a pretty long time. Alot of recipes that call for fried tofu, like pot pie, tell you to freeze it first. Seems like it makes it alot firmer.

Thank you for the replies. I don't remember if I pressed out all the water before I froze it or not. I was in a hurry because it expired either that day or the next one. lol. That's another reason why I'm kind of hesitant to use it. That and I've never had it before.
