: Unfortunately, I have no clear idea what it is or what to do about it...

Tomatoes are the one thing that I really struggle to grow & I love them. I never have the harvest that 40 plants should bring... Of course, I live in Maine, and my garden conditions aren't perfect (just barely on the edge of full sun), but still, it can be painfully disappointing. My other problem is blight...


So I'm curious to read the replies here too!

My tomatoes and peppers last year were pretty sad until I added calcium, which was recommended by a mama here on MDC. I crushed lots of eggs shells into tiny pieces and then worked them in the soil around the roots. It's worth the consideration and the solution is cheap!

It might just be the change in sunlight. You will need to harden your plants off for about 1-2 weeks. Even on a sunny window the plants will get much less sunlight than outdoors. Increase the outdoor sunlight time slowly over 10days.
