Why do they have to hurt sooooo much?

I have a little on on the tip of my tounge. It hurts soooo much!

I've gargled with warm salt water and had ice cream to help numb it a bit.

I've also taken a Tylenol for the headache it has given me! I've had the headache for 3 days now!!!

The whole left side of my face hurts!!!

L-lysine helps with anything related to mouth and lips for me.

My sister had a CRATER in the side of her tongue last Thanksgiving. She'd had it for over a week. Her whole face and head hurt. I bought her monster l-lysine supplements, and it started healing the next day. Gone by the end of the weekend.

What a timely thread!!!

I've had a decent sized ulcer in the underside of my tongue for about 3-4 days and I swear I think it's making my ear hurt on that side. Not to mention, eating is supremely terrible.

I'll look into the lysine. Thanks!
