Tonight we are trying our first SP wool cover. I'm kinda scared, I really don't want to wake up in a lake. I'll let you know how it goes.

My DD sleeps in a wool sugar peas cover most nights.

I still change her once a night or so though since she's a heavy wetter and she seems to sleep better when she's dry.

It will be fine! I was nervous, too...but my toddler who's leaked out of triple-stuffed pocket diapers, and his Goodnight Kiss (occasionally, now I added a smjae to the tri-fold) doesn't leak through an SP (or a Woodland Wool Wrap).

You should be fine. Wool ROCKS!
I have been so impressed with my experience that I'm going to be making more!!! They are sooo cheap when you make them yourself. I got sweaters at Goodwill for $2/piece and I can get two soakers out of each one! The lady at the counter asked if I was getting ready for winter. When I told her what they were for, she looked surprised and disappointed. So sad - she missed out on the joy of cd-ing.

Hurray! We woke up dry! I'm sold on wool. I do have a confession to make though... Under the wool I put her in a hemp SOS with an infant ubcpf as a lay in doubler. When I took off her cover the diapers were SOAKED Everywhere! What can I put on her at night that's absorbant enough to match that without all the bulk that I had last night. Tonight she is in a similar configuration only with a hemp FMBG instead of the SOS. Anyone know a diaper that will hold that much pee?

I've had lots of luck with a nighty newt from little lounging lizards. http://www.littlelounginglizards.com...loth%20Diapers

Hemp fitted, and sometimes (but not always) lay in a doubler, they aren't bulky at all and they absorb A TON! ~

www.sugarbums.com
