I know this is totally stupid, but DH and I were watching the Flintstones today. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Flintstones, but it was the episode where Pebbles is born and comes home from the hospital. And it set off my inner lactivist...<br><br>
The whole episode, Fred is heating up bottles of formula on the stove. I was annoyed at first, but then considered that it was an episode from 1963, when boobs obviously didn't exist.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink"><br><br>
Other than that, I was, of course, slightly bothered by the fact that Wilma had NO pp fat... at all!<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/irked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="irked">: But at least they were using cloth diapers, right? <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><br><br>

Fred and Wilma had twin beds too! I just make myself feel better by remembering the movie "PaintYour Wagon", when the 2nd wife of the Mormon man who rode into the prospectors' camp unbuttoned and started to whip 'em out to bf the other wife's baby! And did just that, in front of Lee Marvin! And that wasn't a cartoon! I don't know the year exactly, you could imdb it to check.
