Tracking Beta HCG

Anyone else tracking their beta hcg levels? I've never had to do it before, but because of the ectopic we had in April, they wanted to watch it rise. Its been very stressful.

It was 49 on 11 dpo and 981 on 17 dpo, so that was really positive. It was only 389 at 5.5 weeks when my ectopic was diagnosed. I have another test tomorrow. And if its high enough I don't have to go back for 6 weeks.

I don't know why its been so difficult. I just feel like I am under the microscope and waiting for a phone call with bad news.

I can see how that would be stressful. I'm not having my beta levels tracked- it's really unusual over here and my local hospital is proving to be pretty bad.

Yes, I am doing the same thing, because of the miscarriage in April. Not an ectopic but we don't know what caused it, so...

I had the betas and progesterone tested twice this week; I don't know if we're going to keep going with the testing or what. I was told that the HCG was fine (although they never told me the number from the second draw); it's the progesterone level that is troublesome as it went from "14" to "12" in two days, and it's supposed to go up, not down. Probably what caused the previous m/c.

I start supplementing progesterone tonight, I just hope it works in time.

Your numbers sound really good, though! I think if it were ectopic, you'd never get to the 900's??? As you said, if you just get through the early weeks of testing, you're free from it for awhile!
I'm going through the same thing...we had a m/c in 2006. So far things look good but, it's still early. I'm on progesterone supp. and have a u/s scheduled for the first week of july. It's so hard and if you are like me, you can't help but obsess. I've learned that pregnancy is all about waiting so, stay positive and try to relax.
