Give me your best ideas on what we can do with a large tractor tire. It's too small to use for a sand box and we do not have a tree suitable for a tire swing. But I'm convinced that we can use it for some sort of recreation for the kids...just not sure HOW

I've seen them buried halfway in the ground so that there is a semi-circle sticking out of the ground that kids can climb on....in the shade so it doesn't get super hot. My friend growing up had a pool and after swimming that tire was a lovely warm spot to lay your belly on.

lay flat and fill with earth for the kids to grow flowers/veggies in (BTW all research indicates that nothing nasty will leach into the soil)

We roll down the hill in it.

We have a camp and that is one of our activities and it is very popular.
We have some padding on the inside and the hill is not terribly steep. Just enough to get you dizzy.
