I picked up a bottle of Trader Joes Castile soap. I was going to give the girls a bath with it whenver I get around to bathing them again. (I can't remember when I last gave Nitara a full bath! Is that bad or what?

)

Anyway, do you think I could use this as a wipes solution?

Not that i'm all that informed about soaps but when I read the title wipes are the first thing I thought of. I used to have a bar of soap that had the word castile in it and I would shave a little off and put it in the microve with the water to melt it.
I'm lasy now so just use the johnsons pump soap

I use Dr. Bronners castille liquid soap in our wipes solution but castille soaps can be very drying, so you have to use it with, say Olive oil and aloe vera as well. Trader Joes has a huge thing of aloe vera for like 7 dollars!

I agree with pp, but add something to it, make it a concentrate and use it along with water for wetting wipes.

We use Dr. Bronner's castile soap to wash our hands. We put it in one of those foam dispensers so that it's really diluted.

I used to use a spray bottle with almost all water and then a few drops of Dr. Bronner's CS and it worked great! Make sure you only use a few drops or else it could dry out your baby's skin.

(Now we use Kissaluvs Diaper Lotion Potion...mmmmmmm...that smells so good!).

It has both of those ingredients added to it so I think we are good to go! Thanks for the input. I want to try some of the Kissaluvs stuff but I'm too cheap.

Castille soaps are actually very mild (true castille soaps are made from 100% olive oil).
