I saw this on ebay. Fell in love and the auction ended early and the person selling it never responded so my guess is I missed it. I am wondering who makes it though so I can try and get it cheaper or through some place that has free shipping. Nova naturals drives me nuts and I really try to avoid them cause they charge so much for shipping.

http://www.novanatural.com/toys/wooden-train

Nova makes me crazy with their shipping, too. And I think their train is over-priced. This is a nice (and reasonable) alternative that I almost bought but opted for a shorter version: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php...ng_id=34279914 GL!

This fellow on etsy makes some too...
http://www.etsy.com/shop/Geppetto

Look on his past items, he does a sweet little block train and a classic train. Much less expensive than the rest.

It looks like a Spiel and Holz piece to me.

I like this one from palumba. Buy a bit more and you can get free shipping.

http://www.palumba.com/product/42/

I love the Nova natural one cause he can put lots of people in it and push them around. I know he would like that feature but the price is killing me. Anyone know of a co-op for Spiel and Holtz?
I am loving the look and price of the palumba one Does anyone have it? Can you put people in it. Like doll house size people.

Thanks everyone!! I found the one from palumba on another site where they had free shipping if you spent 75 which is the price of the train. Its by camden rose. The more I look at it the more thats the one for my son. I like it so much!!

IMO, Camden Rose stuff is nicer than Spiel and Holtz. They use harder woods and sand the items better.

We have this one and my boys love it. It has six cars and lots of room to haul people, "logs", rocks and other items. We also got ours for $35 at a local Waldorf school faire, which makes it even more awesome.

ours is identical to the camden rose one, although i'm not sure it's camden rose. it's up in the closet for christmas, so i can't give it a full review, but i love it! roomy and beautiful... big but not overkill. i love the variation of woods used; looks so rich and inviting!
