I highly... reallllly highly! recommend www.theecstore.com - they have these amazing waterproof trainers called KISSes (Keep It Super Simple) that pull-on only. No snaps, which dd hates because they're 'diapers' if they have snaps in her mind.

You can upgrade to organic cotton inner, and they have a just-absorbant-enough hemp/cotton fleece internal soaker. They aren't bulky at all and are really made well. The PUL outer keeps things dry, but you definitely need to change soon after any accidents!

I have an entire stash of harleyz side snaps. I hate to think of how much money I have invested. I'm trying to get her to make me some elasic that will snap onto the existing snaps, so my son can pull them up and down like pull- ups. yet, I will be able to unsnap them if he has an accident.

It worth a try.
I think more whams should offer them with their diapers.
