So we're looking at trains and train tracks (Brio-style) for ds for Christmas.<br><br>
We don't want the Thomas trains or tracks, just the Brio-sized ones. We're looking for cheap <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment">, wooden, good quality. (Ikea would be great, but it's SO hard for us to get there.)<br><br>
Suggestions, special sales, coupons? Thanks so much!

If you're not worried about MIC toys both Target and TRU sell Brio compatible trains and tracks. If you want made in the USA they have trains and tracks here:<br><a href="http://www.woodentrain.com/Categories.aspx?catid=24&cname=Trains" target="_blank">http://www.woodentrain.com/Categorie...4&cname=Trains</a><br><br>
The prices aren't too bad, either.

I don't know how much you want to spend but there are some nice tracks at <a href="http://www.oompa.com/baby-toys/category.cgi?&category=search&templatehead=&templatebody=&templatefoot=&match=pattern&limitcategory=&type=store&searchtype=and&query=train%20&searchfields=sku%7Cbrand%7Cmodel%7Ckeywords%7Cdescription&template=x64" target="_blank">Oompa Toys</a>. We bought the TC Timber spiral set that is 50% off right now for my son's birthday. Their Heroes train sets are nice too and not a bad price. I saw some Brio sets at a local toy store and was surprised how expensive they are!
