My dd is 10 weeks old and is hopefully through the worst of her colic. I've been carrying her just about non-stop in her Baby Bjorn. When she starts getting fussy we bounce on the exercise ball, and she usually falls asleep. My problem is if I unhook her from the carrier she always wakes up. While I'm grateful that she sleeps so well on me, I'm beginning to fear she'll never nap lying down and I'll be doomed to a life of deep knee bends and not cooking on the stove. Anyone been through this or have any advice or wisdom?
Thanks!

Yeah, that was dd at that age. I started trying to nurse her to sleep in my lap and lay her down still latched on, which helped the transition. Walking and nursing is very effective, if you can do it. When she was round 3 months old I started nursing lying down and she would go to sleep pretty easily. Not so much these days, but it was great while it lasted!

It's a wonderful feeling when they are first able to nap without being strapped to you. Good luck!
