Mid June I am traveling alone with my two dcs (ds 4 yo, dd will be almost 11 mo). We have to fly coast to coast, make a connection, and then fly back to near Chicago. (The things we do to get a cheap flight to Grandmas. . .).
Can I do this using FBs? Or should I swallow my CDing pride and get a package of Sposies for the traveling? I will have to gate check the stroller and bring food, plus books and toys, changes of clothes, etc. Dd will ride in the Ergo, but I will still have a lot to juggle. Ds is an experienced and calm traveler, but this is dd's first trip.
(We will be CDing at my mom's).
Thanks!

Hi,
I asked this question a little while ago, because I'm flying with my twins & 14 year old on what will amount to a full 24 hours of travelling. I found the responses I got really helpful. This is the thread, if you want to look at it:
http://www.mothering.com/discussions...d.php?t=283829
I hope it helps.

I fly at least once a year and have no problem using pocket diapers. For me personally, using disposables is not an option that I entertain. Make sure you do bring a change of clothes for your children and at least an extra shirt for you onto the plane. Every time I fly I get something spilled on me or one of the kids.

Thanks! I have traveled lots with ds, so I know about the change of clothes (or two :LOL ) Just wondering about space for diapers, food, clothes, etc. How many pocket diapers would you take for a days worth of travel?
