I'm pretty certain I have a bone spur on the outside of my right foot. It's been bothering me off and on for at least ten years, but now it's bothering me to the point where if I sleep on my right side, I have to make sure my foot isn't lying against the bed or it becomes uncomfortable. It's not really painful, but it's uncomfortable, and I foresee the discomfort becoming worse with time. So...I don't know what else could be done for a bone spur besides surgery. Does anyone know of any natural remedies I can try? Or if you've had surgery for a bone spur, what was it like? I'm pretty leery of having a full-blown surgery under general anasthesia for something like this, but at the same time I don't want to get more and more uncomfortable down the road, not to mention that we have health insurance until the end of July and I don't anticipate having any in the future.
