A big hunk of one of my maple trees fell off it onto my roof.<br><br>
What can I do with the bits?<br><br>
We are thinking of making a teepee for the kids to play in from some of the long branches but there are also big logs. What else could we do with it?<br><br><br>
We have burning here so whatever we don't find a use for will likely be burned, given on craigslist or stuck in woodchipper

our landlord had a pecan tree in our backyard chopped down summer before last <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/irked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="irked"><br><br>
i wouldn't let them take it away and dp and ds stacked the branches and logs to make a fort. Ds loves it, it looks really cool (visitors to our garden always comment on the fort), and is darn steady and stable considering there are no nails or anything. Only problem i have with it is having to take it down and move all those logs/branches to the garage everytime a hurricane threatens and then rebuilding it after the storm passes.
