Hey, everybody! Our flight is this Saturday, the 15th. We've booked a hotel in Raleigh.<br><br>
Our ds is 2 years and 9 months old. He's very energetic, and not very good with language skills. So, we are wondering what are some good activities to do that don't require much ability to understand verbally.

A couple of our favorite places to visit are <a href="http://www.marbleskidsmuseum.org/" target="_blank">Marbles</a> and the <a href="http://www.ncmls.org/" target="_blank">Museum of Life + Science.</a>

We love both of those places, especially since you only have one kiddo. For Marbles, the best times to go are later in the afternoon or first, first thing in the morning.<br><br>
You also might like the <a href="http://naturalsciences.org/" target="_blank">NC Museum of Natural Sciences</a> in downtown Raleigh.<br><br>
If it rains, there are tons of inflatable places. Monkey Joes at Cary Crossroads might be the closest to downtown, but I am not sure.<br><br>
Farmer's Market (either the state one or one of the smaller ones).

I think there's a "chance" of storms every day, but the actual likelihood is pretty low (although I will confess I haven't looked that far ahead specifically, just speaking in general for this time of year)<br><br>

Sunday is the La Leche League Rock The Baby Festival in Carrboro - if you want to check out Chapel Hill and Carrboro that might be a good day to do it - there's also a cool kids museum in Chapel Hill - Kidzu that is FREE on Sundays!

There was some confusion about the location of our hotel, thanks to Google. If you want to see what I mean, go to maps.google.com and search for our hotel's address, 1105 Havaho Dr. That's the wrong info. Then search for Navaho Dr and Wake Forest Rd. That's where we really are.<br><br>
So, we have a different set of things close to us, and a little drive to some of the things we were looking at on the map before.

We've already been to the Trader Joe's. We grabbed some snacks to stock our mini-fridge. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br>
The LLL festival kinda hits right at naptime. So do the get-in-free hours at the Kidzu.<br><br>
The Artsplosure sounds cool. Then we could have lunch around there. I'll suggest that to my husband.<br><br>
