Hey I was just wondering if anybody else out there is raising their kids with more than one language?

We are actively doing two - me English and DH French and I mix in some Spanish reading.

I have heard of German and Chinese groups, but not French. There has to be a group like that, though! Maybe the Chapel Hill Mothers' Club would have a resource? http://www.chapelhillmothersclub.org/ (You don't have to live in Chapel Hill to join.)

sapphos, there's a french immersion preschool you might be interested in when your little one get to be that age if you don't want to homeschool that is. i'm not sure of the name, but a little friend of dd1's went there. we went to her birthday party this past fall and there were all these kids speaking french. they even sang the birthday song in french. i can ask the mom when they come back from california if you like.

i know some other folks in the area who do english and spanish.
