I am starting a new thread just for Wednesday's regularly scheduled playgroup so that we can keep our posts straight and we all know where to go. The weather forecast is for clouds, but not rain (yet).

What about Apex Community Park. I don't know that we have been there lately. Other suggestions?

that sounds good. I was researching some other parks and found this great resource...I will add the link to the other thread.

Um, seriously! Suuuppper Doubles! (I have taught my kids to say the battle cry. Now if I could just get them to help me coupon, we would be set.)

I think I'm going to go. If I stay home on my birthday I'll be the biggest loser ever. But L has literally cried herself hoarse (it's the most pathetic sound ever!), and she hates the carseat. I'm going to try to nurse her really well and make sure she's content before we leave, so we might be a bit late. Or early. It's up to her!

FYI - there are two playgrounds. Let's start at the one in back since it is also near the trails, bathrooms and picnic shelters.

Are fathers allowed? I don't drive, so my husband would have to bring me.

I'm googling to find where the park is. Is that the one on Laura Duncan Rd?

I think 9;30 or 10 is the usual time (though I've only been to one playgroup, so I'm no expert!)

We are going to try and make it. We are on new-baby time too, and leaving when baby is happy will also determine when we get there!

I updated the OP with a map to the park.

Husbands, partners, friends, etc are all welcome, as are older siblings. This is an open group.

We all aim to be there at 9:30, and usually at least one person is, but it isn't unusual for the majority of the group to straggle in closer to 10. We typically each pack our own snacks and lunch and then stay for a picnic lunch. Feel free to come and go as works for you.

I am going to try to come too! I came to one meet up a loooooooong time ago, and had a pretty rough spring (bad allergies for DS, 2 week illness for me, etc). We also have a lot of LLL activities on Wednesdays and I'm pursuing leadership, so it's hard to miss them. But anyway, I've always wanted to come back and hang out with y'all again, and I think tomorrow might be the day I can actually make it happen! DS has a cough, but it seems related to his allergies, as there is no other sign of illness. Unless that changes, I think we'll be there, if y'all will have us.

Rileymama, I'm a LA as well! (Although I'm new to the process.) Congratulations!
