Where would we all like to go this week? It should be nice out. The afternoon high is 83, so the morning should be pleasant and in the 70s! When it gets a little hotter this summer, I want to host and put out a kiddie pool for everyone! But I don't think it's quite hot enough yet... anyways, this week, does anyone have a park suggestion?

No park suggestion but I'm in for wherever/whatever

ETA: I want to go strawberry picking this week - doesn't have to be our wednesday playdate but I thought I'd mention it to see if anyone wants to go - I really have no plans for the week, or at least I can't remember any plans for this week

We're good for whereever on Wednesday, as Wed. is dedicated playgroup day!

We may be able to fit in strawberry picking as well-been wanting to go, although DH may want us to go together. We're leaving Friday afternoon for our mini camping trip, but Tues and Thurs are just going to be clean/get ready days, so are flexible. I'll keep watching!

DH and I just took L out and about for the first time (target... when did target become a huge outing?!) and she did well. She lost it a bit right as we were checking out, but she'd also just spat up her entire meal. Turns out the pikkolo is the magic carrier and she will gladly sleep in it for a long time if I keep moving and if it isn't too hot.

Anyhow, I'm saying all of this to say that I might be ready to attempt going out with her alone.

So... maybe I'll try to make it to the play date, depending on where it is!

It is the one you sent with her! I like it so much that I'm going to buy one as soon as I find a good deal somewhere. DH loves it, too...he can bounce with her on the exercise ball (the only thing that calms her down sometimes other than boob) without having to wear his arms out holding her. We took her for a walk in it yesterday, too. So thanks for lending it to Carhootel!

Honestly, if you like that one, you can probably buy it! I think I've used it once We can probably work out a decent deal since there won't be shipping involved...just let me know, but I won't be upset if you want to look eslewhere!

DH was actually saying how much he likes that one in particular. We'll talk about it at the playgroup if we're both there!

The babywearing talk is reminding me... I was going to ask if any of you in playgroup have tried a Boba carrier?

CurlyFry- You really do have every type of carrier- don't you. I've always been curious about pikkolos. I'm glad it's working for you rhiOrion!!

she's asleep in it right now

She's usually screaming at this time of night. But it could be that Carhootel was just here. She NEVER cries when Carhootel is around.

OK, so I don't think we ever decided on a location. Here's my vote - either strawberry picking on wednesday OR that park off Harrison Ave. what was that one called?

But really, I'm up for anything so if anyone cares particularly about another park, that's just fine with me!

We did our strawberry picking on Sunday with DH, so I'm up to my eyeballs in them right now. Also, I'm just not sure that it would make for a good playgroup situation. It really took only 30 minutes for us to pick about 6 lbs of them. Then you add in the fact that the plants and rows are delicate, and most places will want people to not cross the rows, be gentle and all that jazz, and consider how rowdy our kids (boys? lol) tend to get. I guess I just don't envision it being very enjoyable compared to what we are used to. I could be wrong.

OK, so let's not do a strawberry picking playdate then But B&G will you PM me the address where you go - I NEED more strawberries!

So tomorrow - playground - how about the one off harrison ave? Have we been to the Davis Drive Park? I really don't care, I like them all but something relatively easy to get to off the interstate is a plus for me

I don't know how it would be for a playdate but we've really been wanting to go to the airport park too
