This is my first Femara cycle, as well as the first time I've monitored AND used ovidrel. So naturally, I have lots of questions :) I went in yesterday, on day 11 for my u/s. They called me later with the results, I was surging (I kinda thought this since I had ewcm) and I had one follicle at 26mm and another at 21mm, both on my left side. They said to trigger last night, I did around 4 PM. Of course, we bd'ed last night, and this morning. I think my temp started going up already this morning. My question is, what happens if you take the hcg shot during your surge or right after O. Will it release both eggs? Is it useless? And was the 26mm too big? I've been reading about that, and it seems that there's conflicting thoughts on that.

Here's my chart:<a href="http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/202d6d">My Ovulation Chart

Thanks!!

Hi Marmo - My last cycle I started surging on my own. I got a very positive OPK and the nurse said it look like one of the eggs might even have already released. We went ahead and did the trigger shot and I got a BFP. I'd say things look good.

I think I also read that the trigger will make all the eggs release, but if you surge on your own you might only release one????? Not sure about that though.
