Okay, I am the odd one out here, being tucked away in down under New Zealand. Thus whenever you guys talk about all the trim and absorbent fitteds and cool covers available in the big united states of America, all I can do is ooh and ahh privately. Sure most are sold online so nothing to stop me from getting 'em, but you guys have such a wide range available I'd be broke if i were to give in to my compulsion to have one of every diaper/cover raved on here LOL.

Anyway, we finally have hemp fitteds made right here in NZ, and I have finally got my hands on some to use, and oh my I'm a newly converted hemp lover! I am so in love with these trim yet effective fitteds I have to share my discovery - after all I feel like I finally can participate in all this trim and absorbent talk. I guess it still probably means nothing to you guys though as I don't have a SOS or Firefly or any other trim fitteds so can't do a comparison....you can check these out in www.snazzipants.co.nz under products then hemp then scroll down to hemp fitteds. By the way what other fitteds have you come across that have this cool design for quick dry feature?

Those look really cool! I haven't seen anything like that made in the US. Seems like they would be really trim!

It's great that you've found something that is working so well for you.

Yeah Sara, the range that is available here has come a long way, but no where near as extensive as in the US. Pippa's fitteds are amazingly great in the poop containment department - but as with many fitteds that are absorbent, the long drying time is the trade-off. So this design in her hemp fitteds is great, and hopefully it also means that hemp stink problem is less likely to occur

Hi Michelle, I'm just across the Tasman in Melbourne! Pippa doesnt seem to come on here anymore, she must be too busy. I met her one morning when she was in Melbourne, she's a lovely girl. Those look great!

You should check out Australian ebay too - particularly for Ericas fitteds.
Erica is about 14 years old, she started when she was 12. Her mum, Lori helps her out but they are awesome, she does all kinds of hemp combos with sherpa and great burley knit terry ones as well. Ebay has exploded here in the last 12 months, there's quite a few wahms including me making stuff and selling there (mine are Derrieres)

Hey, is the price in american dollars? Those are awfully cute, but i might find the price a wee bit prohibitive if they're that much American money .

Those do look really nice.

I'm not a fan of velcro, but I'd try those anyway. :LOL

favorite quote (on the hemp page) : "Hemp fabric is all the rage overseas among nappy makers and nappy nerds alike..."

those prices quoted on the website is in NZ Dollars, so I think it might work out to be something like $20 USD? Depending on the exchange rate at the time...I'm not sure how much postage would be though. See the problem I have with buying new dipes from US? By the time I add postage and convert I'm paying gold for something to be wee-d and pooped on, LOL.

So if any of you mamas are going to try these, let me know I'd be interested to hear how they compare with other fitted dipes you have. I have been using the hemp fitted with a fleece topped hemp doubler for nights lately and have found it to be sufficient for my boy in it from 6.30pm - 7.30am. Very trim and effective - now I just have to receive the used Loveybums wool I got off a mama here and I'd have a trim dipe/cover combo, yay!

Yeah, I think Pippa doesn't visit this board as much these days. It's probably because she's working really hard to establish her business here in NZ. All their finances are tied up in it, a big risk considering that when she took the plunge, cloth was relatively unheard of in NZ. Over the past year or so since she started Snazzipants, we've seen a cloth revolution starting to happen. Then of course life gets harder for her as competition sets in with the likes of Fuzzi Bunz, and various other wahms popping up on TradeMe (NZ's mini version of ebay!)

Jachut, wow, I have heard about Erica's but i didn't realise she's only 14years old!!!!!
