Yesterday for no apparent reason I passed out in Target. I wasn't dehydrated or hungry. I just felt a sharp pain in my stomach and then passed out. DH took me to the hospital and they said every thing looked fine. I have a little bit of blood between the placenta and uterus which the doctor said is normal. Anyone ever hear of that before? Today Im just tired.

I've heard of blood pressure dropping suddenly and causing preggie women to pass out unexpectedly. Glad to hear everything is ok!

This happened to my sis in Powell's bookstore when she was 37-38 weeks. Accompanied by vomiting. In the front of the store where everyone enters, and she was alone. They never did figure out what happened...they suggested low blood sugar, but hard to tell I guess.

So glad you both are doing fine (or should I say all three of you- must have been scary for dh!)

I passed out more than once w/ DD's pregnancy. For me it was low blood sugar, low blood pressure, and/or a combo of both. Fortunately I did it in the comfort of my own home. Sorry that had to happen to you in a public place! Glad to hear you're okay.

Glad to hear you're ok. Are they going to keep an eye on the blood between the placenta and uterus? I've not heard of that before.

Thanks,
My doc is going to check out the blood/placenta issue, which I hope is not an issue, tomorrow. My pressure has been normal. I had a sharp pain before I fainted and I read that people can faint in response to pain sometimes so I wonder if thats it.

I know when I've had diverticulitis attacks and I am in severe pain my blood pressure plummets. It's possible that is what happened...

That would have had to be one heck of a pain to make you pass out though - (if it was that I mean) - wow! I'm glad you're ok, I think my DH would have had an utter cow if I did that! Keep us updated.

I'm glad you're feeling better. I have no idea what could have caused that but hopefully you and your mw figure it out.

I would have been worried and had me checked out. I'm glad you feel better. Try to be easy on yourself.
