Other than weight limit (Radian has higher RF and FF limits), what are some of the pros and cons of these seats compared to each other? Ease of installation? Harness adjustment? Any other gripes or likes?

I don't have the Radian to compare, but my toddler is SO comfortable in his TFP. It's tall, he can look out the window, I like the 2 different recline options, it installs pretty easily after you learn how to do it (but we get a better install with my much stronger than me partner doing it). It's a big seat, but we got it so that it could last him a long time RFing since he's tall. Harness adjustment is SO easy. I heard other people complain about tightening and untightening the harness, but it's easy for me (the little lever maybe is somehow blocked by the seat when RFing for them I guess?).

It is fairly wide so we have it behind the passenger seat that way when I sit with him I have room in the back behind the drivers seat.

My only complaint is it doesn't come in cool designs/colors.

I tried a radian xtsl in my car (99 accord) and could not get it to fit rfing without making the seat infront of it unusable (and it wouldn't fit inbetween the seats either, at least not beside an evenflo triumph - which, for the record, I *LOVE*).

So, I returned the xtsl and orderd the tfp. I'm not a fan. Its a PITA to install since you *HAVE* to use the stupid lock-offs when installing with a seatbelt. Its a PITA to adjust the harness - its doable, but takes digging and yanking really hard in order to get it tightened. And it takes up a *TON* of space both width wise and front-back - only slightly less than the xtsl, tbh - the seat infront is not quite unusable, but its also far from comfortable/what I would prefer.

So... my vote is neither I LOVE my EFTA which was ds1's and is now ds2's (since ds2 inexplicably *HATED* the tfp from the very first moment he ever sat in it... ). I bought a complete air for my DH's car after much debate, and I'm pretty happy with it - it was fairly easy to install, can be installed *VERY* upright, and the adjust is not buried in the seat when rfing. (for the record, the only one of these seats I've ever installed FF is the EFTA)

I love my TFP. It's super easy for me to install in any car I've tried it in and my dd is very comfortable in it. I just wish the patterns were cuter!
