My first post in TTC so I'm making my unsaid reality more real <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/shy.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="innocent"> . DH and I are planning on starting to TTC in June or July; I will be having oral surgery in June that will require general anesthia(sp?); this surgery is not avoidable -- I needed it two years ago when we found out we were pregnant with DD and I've been holding off. My question is I'm starting to become ultra-aware of what I'm putting in my body now that our TTC period is closing in -- should I be worried about this surgery, should we postpone TTC until July? Sorry if these questions appear obvious. Just a little nervous now that this is all becoming more of a reality.

I'd wait to TTC until after your surgery, as it's known that anesthesia is bad for embryos. If your surgery is pre-O, though, it should be fine. Good luck!
