I thought I would update the info on the parenting group in Tucson. We have done some cool things recently. Our name is Basic Families, and we welcome all parents and children to join us on Tuesdays at Connor Park from 10am-2ish(if the weather is nicer we are there longer). We are not a structured group with specific topics to discuss. Just a bunch of moms on blankets talking about what interests us. That being said, we are all breastfeeders, co-sleepers, mostly nonvaxers, noncirc, cloth diaper, homebirthing, wholefooding etc.....

So we invite anyone(this means dads too) to come on out to chat, chill, meet some other like parenting people.

Just wanted to add that people have been getting there a bit later bc of the cooler weather(well ya know, cooler for Tucson!) in the a.m. If you have come and we have not been there, don't despair. Someone will probably arrive between 11:30 and noon.

Hi! I am moving back to Tucson next week. I currently am in Northern Nevada. How many people are in your group? Are you still meeting?

We have 30 people on our email list, and there are always at least 5-10 mamas at the park every week. A lot of times there are way more. We are there around noon now. Hope to see you there.

I can try to make it. It sounds like it would be alot of fun. It is just a hard time on a weekday. I live farther away and have 1 kid who gets out of school at 2.

True True. We are sometimes there on Thursday, and we are getting there later and later, so 1pm is a good time to get there. Come on out new mamas! The weather has been perfection!
