does your baby eat tuna?i've been trying to think of some things that my 7 month old sweet gal might like to eat.i thought she'd be able to chomp the tuna without any problem but i'm wondering if there's some reason not to give it to her?what do you think?

we won't try fish until DS is at least 3.....he has other food allergies so we are avoiding fish & peanuts til at least 3 (and not doing nuts at all b/c of my allergies)

I'd avoid tuna with one so little both because of the chance of allergies and the mercury content.

My son is 22 months and I still don't give him tuna or PB and J.

Tuna is a top feeder (i.e. eats lots of other little fishes) and has a lot of mercury.
There is a lot of info about how much is safe to eat. http://www.health.state.mn.us/divs/e...afeeating.html has some guidelines and for little ones and pregnant mamas it's only 2X month.
Personally, I'd find a different source of proteins for her.
