Twin Birthdays

Does anyone else have twins with different birthdays? It was so confusing for the staff at the hospital because mine were born different days. It also ended up being a problem in the NICU because they base food increases and feeding schedules on the how old the babies are, and my girls were getting different amounts at different times for a few days until one doctor stepped in.

Mine were born on the same day but just wanted to comment. That is so neat and unique. How far apart are they?
That is great that they each get their own birthday. It will kinda make them feel special, unique, different, which can be important and difficult to do with twins.

Sorry, I just saw your sig. They are only a day apart, by how many hours?

Mine were born at 12:58AM and 1:07AM and in my post-labor-sleep-deprived brain I briefly thought that they were born on separate days.

Josie was born at 11:28 and Robyn at 12:58.
Hello.

Kilian and Bjorgvin were born at 0034 and 0037 on the same day, but I do remember glancing up at the clock and it was getting close to midnight and I was sure one would come before midnight. That wouldv'e been cool.
Although because they were born so soon after midnight Kilian's wristband said 0034 Nov 23 and Bjorgvin's said 0037 Nov 24.
My dad is a twin and he and my aunt have different b-days. I dont know how far apart they were.

My twins were born at 10:14am and 10:25am and twin B's bassinet in the NICU had that she was twin B but born a day ealier than she actually was.
Mine were born on the same day but I do know someone here has twins born on different days. Can't remember who that was though...
We had an emergency c-section at quarter to midnight. The boys were born at 11:48 pm and 11:53 pm. I asked the doctors if they could wait 10 minutes to allow the boys to have different birthdays.

Let's just say the German sense of humor (or lack there of) nixed that idea right away.

i do think it's pretty neat though.

I kind of had the same thing. My girls were born at 11:18 and 11:19 via c-section. Had I had known the time I would have asked the doctor to wait until it go t closer to midnight to perform the c/s. My husband said he tried to tell me to get the doctor to wait but i don't remember. But my doctor wasn't all that nice. He just wanted to get in and out as fast as he could.
: I just wished I had known better about the whole thing, c/s, bad doctor, and waiting longer for babies to turn. But I can't change the past.
Anyways, I also do know someone who almost had her babies on separate years. They were born an hour apart at home. Her husband really wanted them in two separate years but she just wanted them out.
