I dont really suspect but my mom was a twin and I'm 30 ( I was just reading being over 30 increases your chance of twins) so I wouldnt be shocked if I was but I would be overjoyed either way.

So do twins run in any of your familes ( only counts on the Maternal side), or any ivf, fertility drug babies that may be more than one?

It will be intersting to see if anyone who predicts twins or posts here has twins

I predict someone on our board will have triplets (not me though!)

And at least 2 Mamas are going to be expecting twins!

Any guesses?

I am wondering as I researched my numbers from my draw and at 10dpo they should be bewtween 10 and 50.Mine were 116.I know the day I ovulated as I had a u/s three days before for pain that they thought was related to the m/c.
There are none in my family though.I would be happy either way.I had a m/c 5 weeks ago and got pg before getting a cycle and I heard that pregnancy immediately after a m/c has a higher % of multiples.
i'll know in a few weeks.

Hehe, I would *LOVE* to have twins - if only cause' that would put me up to my ideal 3 kiddos in one shot
But, I really really don't think so. Though I def teased DH about having twins last pregnancy before we went in for the first US

I don't have history of twins in my family but for some reason I have always had a feeling that I will have them. My sister in law had twins, one of each, with no family history. That alone would probably make it very unlikely for me to have them but who knows right? First ultrasound on the 18th so we'll see...

We do have twins on my side, and my Mom and Grandma are both pulling for twins. Eek!

I don't suspect anything at the moment, although I did have a dream about twins.

I'm a little freaked out about twins. I mean honestly this was unplanned and I'm a little freaked out about one, but I'm growing to love that idea! But twins run in my family. In fact my last pregnancy was a twin pregnancy but I lost one at 8 weeks. I'm almost 31.

I'll feel better after my ultrasound (which I'm not getting until 18 weeks!!!)

Yeesh.

My mother and father's sides are both twin-laden. But honestly, I really hope that I'm not having twins. My younger brother's are twins, and my mother went slightly crazy because of being so overwhelmed (personality type). I am very much prone to the same personality quirks! I did have two beta HCG 's done, Monday (20dpo) and today(22dpo) and the levels were 3,270 and 8,160 so they more than doubled, which is great (I've had 2 previous m/c), but from what I've read seem to be in the normal range for a singleton pregancy.

I sure hope it's not me. After three sons. I think one baby will be just fine. My question.... Ohiomommy1122 do you just have a gut feeling or do you have psychic abilities on the fact that there will be twins and even a triplet? I'm getting nervous....

We actually have a pretty good shot at twins since I was on injectible medication. At the time of my IUI, I had two mature follicles with a possible third. My RE told me the percentage of multiples conceived on injectibles is close to 20-30% (typical for unmedicated is 1-2%.)

My OB/GYN believes that DS had a twin that I lost at 6w (conceived without meds). We'll never know and it's probably better that way!

Will be getting my beta results back this afternoon.

Sometimes I have psychic ablities but I was really just guessing sometimews my guesses are right sometimes not- we will see
I always wonder though if I'm gonna have twins because my mom was a twin- twins would be cool but what a handful it would be with a 3 yr old 18 mo old and 8 yr old! ( ages at the time of birth I'm guessing)

Well...I've always thought it would be cool to have twins, and have been thinking about it more over the past few months since I found out that women that are nursing during the time of conception(which I am) have a greater chance of having them. Also, I'm over 30. Twins don't run on either side of my family that i know of....however, my oldest friend from high school who seems to have pretty truthful dreams texted me just a few weeks ago and told me she dreamed I was having twins.
and here I am about a month later with a BFP.....so idk, we'll see!

My mother was adopted, so I don't have any history on my maternal side. She claimed to have a twin, but identicals aren't hereditary.

I did have a pretty strong feeling with my last pregnancy that I had more than one baby in there. But the miscarriage confirmed there was only one.

This time, I feel like there's only one in there. But I would love twins.

I'm also coming off of a miscarriage and am wayyyyy over 30.
(Oh, I took Soy, too)
