I'm hoping someone can help me with this. My healthy happy daughter has recently started scratching herself very hard as she is falling asleep at night. It's not like she's itchy, it's like she's digging her fingernails into her belly, or the palm of the opposite hand, and raking them hard across her skin. She has some scratch marks on her belly this morning and it's awful to see. She does it maybe 4-6 times while trying to sleep, and so far only at night time, not naps. She doesn't do anything like this while she's fully awake. I thought perhaps she was trying to keep herself awake? Or needed some sensory input? I often rub her feet or back while she is nursing down and we listen to music.

Anyone have any idea what could be up?
