So, something just doesn't feel righ... I feel pressure on my crevix and almost like something is going to fall our or pass a blood clot. So, I called my doctor and they are going to fit me in for an u/s sometime tomorrow. I will only be 6 weeks tomorrow so they said it is very early to do one... has anyone had one this early and see a HB?

Thanks! I think it is a little early to hear the heart yet - but maybe? I will be sure to update.

Ok I am very worried. When she did the scan she said I was more like 4 weeks pregnant and everything looked fine. There was an empty sack. My cycles have been 28-33 days. So at the most, my due date would be pushed out 4 days but that would make me more then 4 weeks still.... she said everything looked fine and to come back in 10-14 days. Well I started thinking about a blighted ovum... and did some research and they recommend to come back in 10-12 days. Do you think my calculations are just off or is it maybe truly a blighted ovum? She printed off a picture and gave it to us.... if she thought it was a BO, do you really think she would send us home with a picture? Am I just overreacting and worried about everything? My next u/s is set up for 6/17

I don't have any personal experiences with blighted ovums, so there's not a lot I can say on that matter. But - and it's a big one - she said "everything looked fine." Do you trust your doctor? I think the fact that she only pushed your EDD out four days is a good sign, but then again - what do I know?

What kind of symptoms are you having? Cramping, nausea or vomiting, cravings, mood swings, etc.? Did she check your hCG levels? Was the placenta visible? The placenta will only continue to grow for a short time before the body recognizes that a healthy fetus will not be developing.

I'll be sending you happy thoughts, Lynne. I hope this is all just a little scare and that baby is yours come January.

When did you get your bfp?

and whether its a blighted ovum or they just didnt see baby yet (i had an us at 4 weeks with DD and it showed up the same, just a tiny little sac) they tell you to come back in 2 weeks just to be sure everything is developing fine.
