I dunno if the baby switched positions or had a giant growth spurt but all of a sudden I'm having that feeling like someone's sitting on me (which I guess they are <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> ) Isn't 31 weeks a little early for this?? <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/dizzy.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Dizzy">: Now I'm even more worried that this baby is going to be huge. Anyone else have a baby up in their ribs already?

Mine has dropped already, but every once in a while he moves back up and I feel like I can't take a deep breath.

I think my baby is actually transverse with her head in my right ribe cage and feet on my left side, although I do feel a few kicks to the cervix every now and then. It is quite uncomfortable with her in my ribs though..and I get out of breath EXTREMELY easily. I have to push her down sometimes and she pushes right back! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> She's stubborn already!!! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/loveeyes.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Loveeyes">:

I have actually been having this problem for several weeks now. I feel as if I just cannot fully inflate my lungs. I don't know if it is her position or size but I do have to say that it is very uncomfortable.

I hate that all of you are going through this too, but I am relieved to know it isn't just me. The last two nights I have had the hardest time catching my breath. I feel like I can't get enough air in. It is so uncomfortable!
