Ugh. There is more humbling than bathing suit shopping. I hope I can get away without doing it at all this year. We have temporarily acquired a gigantic hot tub that is sitting on the porch in our private, surrounded-by-trees yard right now, and I will get in that sucker in a bathing suit that is three sizes too small (or NO bathing suit) if I have to because I know nobody will see me in all my stretchmarked goodness.

Good luck tonight, hopefully you'll find something quickly.
The last suit I bought was off-season so I ended up dropping a small fortune at one of those swimsuit stores at the mall. (water, water everywhere) It was totally worth the price. I'm sure the fact that it was winter helped, but I was able to get totally personal help. The lady asked what kind of suit I was looking for, got a feel for the styles I liked, pulled a couple of suits for me to start with, then checked each one, brought more sizes/styles, and gave great advice.

It still meant examining all the things I don't like about my body but in the end I got a suit that presented everything in the best possible light.
