Nothing like making you feel reeeeeealllly pretty. (That is dripping w/ sarcasm).

But if I wear my current swimsuit for yet one more reason, it will be even more un-pretty. LOL.

Ugh. There is more humbling than bathing suit shopping. :p I hope I can get away without doing it at all this year. We have temporarily acquired a gigantic hot tub that is sitting on the porch in our private, surrounded-by-trees yard right now, and I will get in that sucker in a bathing suit that is three sizes too small (or NO bathing suit) if I have to because I know nobody will see me in all my stretchmarked goodness.

Good luck tonight, hopefully you'll find something quickly.

Wear pantyhose when you try on the suits. It really helps. It kind of smoothes things out a little bit and makes the suits look better, especially in that harsh dressing-room light. Good luck!

The last suit I bought was off-season so I ended up dropping a small fortune at one of those swimsuit stores at the mall. (water, water everywhere) It was totally worth the price. I'm sure the fact that it was winter helped, but I was able to get totally personal help. The lady asked what kind of suit I was looking for, got a feel for the styles I liked, pulled a couple of suits for me to start with, then checked each one, brought more sizes/styles, and gave great advice.

It still meant examining all the things I don't like about my body but in the end I got a suit that presented everything in the best possible light.
