Nothing sounds good, but I am starving. I am nauseated all the time it seems, from not eating, but see my first sentence for why.

Ugh.

That sucks.

I'm also not enjoying eating -- I had a very intense weight loss surgery a few years ago, and I have a lot of malabsorption issues. In order to keep baby healthy, I've been told I need to eat A LOT. (My surgery is a Biliopancreatic Diversion with a Duodenal Switch, or just a "Duodenal Switch" or a DS.)

I'm eternally glad that I have no nausea right now. I can't tell you how grateful I am for that -- this has been the easiest pregnancy so far. I take so many supplements due to my malabsorption, I could not handle morning sickness.

I totally, completely, and 100% agree. I am hungry, but nothing sounds good. How could it, when I feel nauseous whether I eat or not? So I feel like I am force feeding myself. I have to read while I'm eating or I simply won't get anything down! I guess I'm lucky in that what I do eat is staying down...

I could have written this post exactly. All I want is fish, but its really expensive and needs to be bought the day I make it AND I can't even eat a lot because of the mercury. Seriously? Shoot me.

I feel the same way. I feel terrible every evening especially, right around dinner time, and I know it's probably because I'm hungry but *nothing* sounds good at all.
It's weird, even this early with dd I wanted to eat everything I saw and commercials were terrible at kick starting cravings. Now I'm not craving anything.

I feel like my food aversions are slowly getting better, but only as recently as the past few days (Im almost 7 weeks, I think). I find myself gravitating towards carb-heavy food...but in the beginning I didnt care, as long as I was eating something, yanno?

Now Im trying to snack healthier. Ive found grazing to be helpful in terms of morning sickness. Maybe have a bag of grapes, or dry cereal, or nuts, or something similar nearby to absentmindedly graze on??

I feel the same way- and when I finally settle on something, it isn't healthy. I've already gained a solid 7 pounds!!!!! I mean, are you kidding me??? I am only 9 weeks today. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

If I am gaining tons of weight when I can barely get anything down, how much weight will I gain when I am having cravings all day and all night long next trimester!!! EEEKKKK!!!

This is me. Totally. What a pain is the arse......

So, soup has been helping. But then I need protein. So right now, I am drinking a glass of milk with protein powder. Not my best option (would prefer actual food), but I am hoping the protein will keep me going through the night.

I was just thinking that maybe I should go get some protein shake kind of things. So, at least, I can drink a little bit that has a whole lot of punch to it. Because otherwise, I am inhaling crackers. I wish I had the energy to get out grapes (but then they have to be washed, blah). When DH gets home, I am going to have him prep food for me at night.

The only thing that I'm really able to eat is cheese, yogurt, & PB & J sandwiches. That's it. I'm lucky that I'm not throwing up, but it's been close a couple times.

I've been finding that, once I figure out something "appealing" to eat, I take a few bites and suddenly feel full. SUCH a disappointment after spending all that time trying to figure out what to eat!

I generally love eating, and have only a few food aversions holding me back. However, I'm finding myself actually FORGETTING to eat...case in point last night...got home from work, spent a few hours with the fam and chilling, then went to bed. Woke bolt upright at 12:30am with stomach pains. I was thinking of what it could be, then realized I was HUNGRY! Luckily right around that point my husband came to check on us and I asked him to get me a banana, so he did and I felt better. I think he thinks I'm crazy.

Oh, but I puked my prenatals and Vitex this morning...goodness, they're bad enough going down, coming back up is 10 times worse! I take Rainbow Light Complete prenatal, the kind with six pills per day...

The smell of the kitchen made me lose it this morning for the first time, so I will NOT be going back in there for a long time. I'm tempted to pull a cooler out to the living room and have DH stock it for me before he leaves in the morning.

I'm constantly amazed at how little it takes to make me feel full ... I thought pregnant ladies were supposed to be ravenous!

Also, anyone know how to help DH's breath? It makes me gag ...
