At the eye doctors yesterday the other people and I got to listen to a granma constantly VERY LOUDLY telling this child "stop doing that or I am going to spank you " The poor thing couldn't have been more than three and was bored to tears. There are disney movies played in there ( go figure at an eye docs lol) and she even told him "sit down and watch the movie or I will spank you "
I have to tell you mama's I have never heard of being threatened with being spanked for NOT watching TV.
I was about to offer to let him draw since I carry stuff with me all the time even when the duo isn't with me but we got called back
(I don't know why the docs office took out the toys in the other room but they have )
He was crawling under the chairs which wasn't appropriate but still ..had he not been bored and ignored ...
But her screeching was making a few of us nuts..I just wish I had made the offer sooner than I was going to but it did happen within like 5-7minutes
I actually could count how many times she said it in that time frame..
