slimkins- i have the same thing happening.

mary1012- they are homebirth midwives in your area that do HBACs, yet. I don't think the birth center out West takes VBACs unless you began care with them for the c-section birth and then needed to transport...not sure though. That is the policy of the birth center in Chapel Hill though. best to you!

i had a long list of things to do for those impatient mamas but somehow my post got deleted. ugh.

Freeze more food.

Chiro, Acupuncture, Yoga, Massage, Pedicure.

Re-read Spiritual Midwifery or your other fave birthy book (then you won't feel like you need to finish it after the birth!).

Hug the big kids and snuggle them up since family dynamics change so quickly with a new babe. I "missed" my oldest so much after her sis was born. She was so old and independent immediately, at 27 months and that transition was huge for me. I am trying to be more prepared this time but I know I am going to weep some tears with how the big sisters grow up overnight!

Love on our partners lots. I will want to feel real connected in labor, etc. so am trying to make sure we get our time together in these days.

Considering, expressing, thinking gratefulness and thankfulness over and over, again.

Yikes! When's he back? I'm sure babe will wait for dad;)

So...I woke before 2am (again- I'm having the worst time sleeping!), listened to TWO hypnobabies tracks (that's 1/2 hr each and they normally put me to sleep) and nothing. So by 4 I decided to wake DH (who was in DS's room), perfect time for sex I figured w/DS sleeping, and it usually can put me to sleep;) Not this time, though, just as I was falling asleep he moved and I couldn't get comfy again, then DS woke and, even though DH got him, he was loud and I never fell back asleep. I caved and had coffee this am and now am coming down from that and DH has a long day today. UGH!! Thank God it's Friday, that's the only thing keeping me OK right now. I'd kill to go to sleep, but I know DS would wake as soon as I do (always does). AND nothing from sex, thought maybe I'd get something going on. Oh, the waiting...

I woke up with craziest itchiest rash this morning. The midwife met me at the Birthing center to check it out and ruled out PUPPS. She sent me home with homeopathic Apis Mellifica, and Rhus Tox, orders to drink some strong Dandelion tea, oral and topical Benedryl and instructions on how to take an oatmel bath.

Also yesterday my 3 yo DS broke his toe at playschool, and won't be able to get casted until Monday afternoon so anytime he has to go potty or anything, guess who gets to carry him everywhere...yup overly pregnant grumpy mama. *sigh*

I waved the White flag about a week ago. Can I be done being pregnant?! I just want this baby to be on the outside already!

I think I'm gonna order a hypnobirthing track to bring on labor. I've done hypnobabies this and last pregnancy, but their "Come out Baby" track is not downloadable! How much sense does that make?! So, order the CD and in the meantime birth your child before it arrives in the mail? No thanks, so I'll see if the other one works, anyone tried it? I'm DESPERATE!! Not even "due" til tomorrow, I can't imagine going another 2 or 3 weeks, I'm barely hangin in. Oh, I know, I'm such a baby, but if I can't complain to you guys who can I, right?!

That seems like a serious oversight, LOL! They should market one called "COME OUT NOW BABY NOW D*MNIT" (and obviously it should be downloadable!)

Dear God! If this keeps up much longer I'm gonna be in trouble. I just sent DH back out b/c he came home with our Arby's and forgot my milkshake. This is after I already had him get chocolate at the store, last night it was donoughts and we've eaten out or fast food more than I'd care to admit this week! Seriously, before a couple wks ago I don't remember the last time we had fast food! We eat a traditional foods diet, I make everything from scratch pretty much, every night! Normally SOOO healthy but I just can't bring myself to make dinners most nights (after a couple weeks of making tons of freezer food) and this stuff actually sounds good (normally it doesn't!). THis is not good! I hear if you go over due you're supposed to limit sugar drastically and I'm piling it on. It's almost like I don't care and just feel like I deserve to do what I want...this poor baby! I'll have to make up for it by eating super healthy bfing (which I will). Oh well...bring on the curly fries

Haha, I'm so glad I'm not the only one. My OB has been telling me for MONTHS to limit my sugar but lately I can't stop it. I really wanted chocolate chip cookies tonight but we didn't have any chocolate chips.... so I looked up on the internet how to make my own. They are cooling in the fridge and I can make some cookies in about 20 more min.

I have seriously been on the sugar track the last week or so as well! Such horrible timing when I'm sure the poor baby is going to get it all! I just can't stop! I currently have ice cream cake, peanut butter pie and a little bit of ice cream in the freezer. Agh! Its not usually that bad! But I have absolutely NO desire for almonds, salads, or veggies of any sort. Thankfully I've been ok at forcing myself to eat something besides sugar but my resolve is definitely breaking down.

I can't even imagine how to make choco chips! haha, thats dedication!

After being out of raw milk for a long time (I don't do pasturized) and now having a gallon, I'm def. gonna need some cookies tonight!

So, it's my EDD and I'd REALLY like a baby today! It's supposed to rain tomorrow, after being sunny and 70s for the last few weeks, it'll be in the 60s, what a good time to cuddle with a baby in bed! No signs today, though...I have a feeling now that he'll be waiting another week and DH does too:( It's so hard to start another week with no babe, especially after all we did yesterday! Sex, a long walk, lots of acupressure, resting/destressing, what more does this kid need - the right time for him or something?!? Yeah, I guess that's it, if everything I'm doing isn't working I've gotta realize he's just not ready, arg!

I was thinking yesterday, though, maybe he'll be a calmer, laid back kid than DS, who came shooting into the world so fast and a bit "early"!

Babe feels posterior:( After the awful back labor I had w/DS you'd think I'd be concerned, but I really just have a one track mind of getting him out. I figure if he wants to be posterior, so be it!

SUGAR! Yes, big problem here too. I have stopped the ice-cream, but not the chocolate... and I got so impatient waiting that i went ahead and baked little boy's "birth day" cake ... almost all eaten already. I guess I'll have to bake another :)

Only two days past EDD here, and wow, those two days were rough, but I seem to have hit a calm wall of resignation.

I have stopped trying to self-induce, because the acupuncture/sex/spicy foods/long walks would just cause sensations that got me excited, but then ... NOTHING! Better to get off the roller coaster until baby decides it's time.

YippieHippie -- love to hear about other hypnobabies moms.. can't wait to hear how it all works for you on the day. And yeh, how stupid not having that track downloadable. They could be making a fortune!!
