I think this is made of a stretchy cotton-lycra blend, which worked great until turtle hit 15+ pounds, then it didn't distribute his weight as well and I bought a mei tai, which I love.

It would probably be fine for light carrying, but I couldn't do yardwork with it.

mliss just posted a really great review of this not-so-great carrier, let me see if I can find it for you: http://www.mothering.com/discussions...light=ultimate

Bottom line, there are much better choices out there.

Although I am glad that "babies r us" and "target" are making an attempt to have babywearing items, it is not the best carrier you can get and have heard many negative remarks. If you want a stretchy wrap, the Moby wrap is really great. As your LO gets heavier, a woven wrap like a ellaroo, or didymos is a great choice as it offers more support.

I bought it, used it a lot 'til DD hit about 18 lbs, then sold it. There are better stretchy wraps. I've said it before - it annoys me that the package claims you can do back carries with this wrap. The fabric is not supportive at all; I'm sure DD would have flipped right out backwards if I didn't have my hands there to make sure she didn't.
