I am so excited, and so IMPATIENT! I cannot wait for this ultrasound, and PRAY that the baby will cooperate and show the BITS that need to be seen. I know some people love a surprise in this area, NOT ME! I want to know EVERYTHING!! I am a planner, and will be (tenatively) buying bed sheets and clothes and girly toys ahead of time. I will probably still be leary that they werent 100% accurate on the reading, like I was last time, but last time I was only 18 weeks. This time I am going to be closer to 21. Would that help?

I feel the same way! I'm so nervous for mine, which is this Wednesday the 25th. I'll only be 18 weeks, so hopefully I won't get an inconclusive gender result. I waffled over when to schedule it, but in the end couldn't wait any more. I haven't been feeling a ton of movement and I just really want to reassurance of seeing the baby. If we don't get to see gender I might try to sneak in another one in a month. It's really important to me to know the gender. I want to fully embrace whatever gender this baby is, and get it all sorted out before he or she is born!

You guys reminded me that I need to schedule my ultrasound.. Im 19 weeks and I haven't scheduled it so Ill probably be close to 21-22 when it actually happens. I hope to find out the gender but it depends on the baby's coorporation. At first I didn't want to know the gender but now I just want to show certain people that Im right (again) so they leave me alone.

I had an ultra sound at 18 weeks with my son. And the sonographer was right! I actually paid to have another one done at 33 weeks, to be SURE that she was right, and she was. So you might get lucky. But if your anything like me, you will be paranoid and doubtful no matter HOW good the sonographer is. (Apparently mine had never been wrong in like 10 years!) And to me, it will just FEEL like a baby once i SEE IT with my own eyes. A part of me is still in shock that I will have ANOTHER baby already. I am still revelling in the birth of my son only 9 months ago!

Mine is on Thursday
I am just hoping they can send the "results" to my midwife asap so I can hear back about the sex of the baby before I go on vacation (the techs aren't allowed to tell us here).

Mine's a week from today (7/1) and I can't wait! I'm actually starting to catch myself hoping for third girl. Boys are scary. And I really hope we can see what this baby is, because if it's a boy I need to prepare, lol.

At 16 weeks in my first pregnancy, my OB told me she was "85% sure" the baby was a girl. Four weeks later, we saw my son's twig and berries clear as day.

First ultrasound we had with DD was a three D/four D one that we paid for. The tech said she was 80 % sure it was a girl.. It was a pretty good guess.
