That's so awesome! I have my first ultrasound on Monday morning. I'll be 12 weeks, 1 day. I can't wait to see if there is actually somebody in there. LOL It all still feels so surreal.

Congratulations! I love your pictures. I had an u/s pretty early at 7 weeks because I'd had some spotting and I was a nervous wreck so my midwife took pity on me. So my nugget was still a proto-human-lizard thing. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.mothering.com/images/smilies/smile.gif"> The one downside for me of midwife care vs. an OB is the lack of ultrasound reinforcement. I know women who went to OBs and had an u/s at every appointment, but I won't have another til 20 weeks. But starting with my next appointment we'll be able to hear the heartbeat with the Doppler so I'll have that, at least!

Those are awesome! I had one super early ultrasound years ago with my soon-to-be 12yo but it was earlier than yours, I don't recall seeing baby at all. I just think it's amazing that the tiny little someone in your ultrasound pics will and is growing into a precious baby. I find it all so surreal!

this is my little bean when I was 11 weeks 5 days. I couldn't believe how 'cute' it looked!! HB was 172. It was flipping and swimming and waving...amazing!

This is mine at 11w1d. This was taken with a very old machine at my MW office. It wasn't scheduled but we asked for a quick pic to use when we were telling our family.
 
Next one will be the 20w on 1/12/11.

 Rumor has it that's a little baby boy. I have the anatomy scan in a couple weeks and if I get told boy again I'll really believe it.

I love all these sweet little babies! I had a sono at 12w, but I didn't get any pics from it since it was kind of a quick "make sure there is a HB" sono. My big one is at 19w on the 19th of January. I'll be getting pics then to share!
