Aw, how cute! Between my daughter and this one, I have never seen a baby flip on an u/s, and I have had more than usual due to fertility issues witht his one and an anterior placenta (couldn't hear the heartbeat on the doppler) with my daughter. I've just seen little wiggles. I am hoping that I will see this baby move around a bit in there... but not too much. I do want to know the gender.

yeah LO flipped like 6 times, clearly trying to hide from the ultrasound (which i totally knew was going to happen) the two times we have heard the heartbeat it has taken 10 to 15 minutes to find it. i told my midwife that the baby was shy and i told DP last month that i wouldn't be surprised if LO put hands in front of face during ultrasound. and guess what, totally put little hands up in front of face!

definitely a surprise but i still think a girl. when there was a really quick shot of the bum/between the legs, i didn't catch anything in between there.
but that is just a guess, since we said we didn't want to know she didn't let us know.

it was great though, i will post pics as soon as DP sends them, he is scanning at work. Since there was lots of moving, we don't have the very best pics but still awesome.

oh and for the record, i cried a lot.

Oh, that sounds so amazing! I don't blame you for crying. It's so surreal (I don't know if that's even what I mean) to think that there's another human being growing inside.

all i could think the whole time was "there is really a baby in there"

surreal is definitely the right word

I've been kinda emotional recently, so if my ultrasound was anytime soon, I think I'd also be sobbing!

I'm glad little one is healthy and active, my little bean was flipping at my 12 week ultrasound, s/he would flip, then log roll, then flip again...it was so cute!

Can't wait to see the pictures!

Yay! Glad everything went well.....

My baby is so active that I'm anticipating lots of flips and turns and kicks when we have the ultrasound. I keep reading stories online of people that had to go back for second and third u/s because baby was moving so much they couldn't get a good view. I can't help but be anxious about that happening to us!
