From the auctions I have seen they look really wooly and thick. I have never seen one in real life, so I am assuming. They just look like the'd be heavy and bulky. I'm a dork though. So who knows.<br><br>

the organic cotton does look thick. but i have a hemp/cotton (i guess that would be hemp fleece?) pocket and it's thin and doesnt look bulky at all, even w/the stuffers in it. I really like my pocket diaper.

I thought the exact same thing before I got one. I was lucky enough to score one on the TP for a good price and when I got it everything changed! They are so awesome and so trim, they fit my DS better then anything else. I have my number now and even though its going to be like 8 months I don't care, I just want them. There are also different materials you can choose to have them made out of, mine is a smoother organic cotton and not bulky at all.<br>
Oh I could go on and on! So I'll stop now and let someone else gush over them. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

Yes, they suck. Everyone must sell their mediums to me! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/whistling.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="whistle"> No really, I'm not the biggest fan of the burley knit terry ones (like the ones on ebay, I think). Here's a few pics of Muggs in an El Bee:<br><a href="http://pic13.picturetrail.com/VOL460/2198062/4351418/54329558.jpg" target="_blank">http://pic13.picturetrail.com:80/VOL...8/54329558.jpg</a><br><a href="http://pic13.picturetrail.com/VOL460/2198062/4351418/54329573.jpg" target="_blank">http://pic13.picturetrail.com:80/VOL...8/54329573.jpg</a>

Actually, burley terry is a cotton or cotton/poly fabric; hemp is different. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

you won't be able to get one now. She closed the list down. Well, you can get one, just not a #. There was some talk that she would still be taking baker doz orders tho. She's going to be opening up an instock store soon. That scares me. It will be a feeding frenzy. She going to be raising her prices a little too - totally understandable. given the demand, they are under priced right now.

No you can't order a bakers dozen from her right now. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/irked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="irked">: I wish I could too! I have three of her diapers and I love them. Laura is truly amazing! I can't rave enough about her stuff! It the most perfect fit! I would hang out in the tp for one to try out. The organic burley knit terry is not bulky but if you are concerned about it maybe post for the hemp french terry smooth side out. Sooooooo nice! So trim! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"> Elbee Baby! Maybe some nice mama will sell you one! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up">

not sure...the jury's still out on that. But I"m sure you can email Laura and ask her. It will take her 3-4 days to get back to you but she will. Not sure what price you would be able to get them at. REally tho, they arent any more expensive than any other hyena dipe right now. they're abt 18.00 w/out gussets and 20.00 w. I believe. I got a bakers w/out gussets, bakers doublers and 2 handdyed day weight for 300.00 - it was 430.00 CA. If no one has found out abt being able to still order bakers I'll find out when she emails me abt my # coming up.

Well when your order comes up (mine did last week) she sends you a generic email to let you know all the info (fabrics, colors, etc) you need and at the bottom it says that due to the impending instock store you can no longer add on to your order. I'm sure if you decided to go with Elbee lights instead of heavy's and wanted doublers for your lights that would be fine but going from a single diaper to a bakers dozen and two wooly bully's is more what she's talking about (I could be totally wrong here)! :LOL

Actually, I seem to recall a post from someone recently who didn't like elbees all that much and sort of remember someone else saying they came unsnapped whenever her son set down. So I guess they don't work for everyone. If they work for your kid though, they sure are nice. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1">
